Senior Pastor: P. M. Joy
Pastor P. M. Joy, a native of Anchal, Kerala, came to Bahrain in 1976. An accountant by profession, he served in a reputed company in Bahrain in a senior managerial position until 2023.
On June 1, 1981, he was appointed as an ordained Pastor of the Bahrain Assemblies of God Church by the Assemblies of God Malayalam District Council, and has faithfully led the church ever since.
His beloved wife, Late Mrs. Mercy Joy, was a deeply committed and loving woman, remembered for her unwavering support for her husband and the church. She has since entered her eternal rest in the presence of the Lord.
Pastor Joy and Mrs. Mercy Joy are blessed with three children:
Sis. Gladsy, married to Pastor Denny Sam, serves as part of the ministry at Gilgal International AG Church, Bangalore as the Senior Pastor. They are blessed with two daughters, Michelle and Mabel.
Sis. Jincy Ajith, married to Bro. Ajith, lives in Dallas, USA, and they are blessed with a daughter, Olivia.
Pr. Gibson Joy, married to Janet Gibson, serves the Lord as a missionary in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, along with their two sons, Caleb and Josiah.
Pastor P. M. Joy is a faithful and steadfast man of God, known for his deep personal faith, prayerfulness, and unwavering devotion. His humility, gentleness, and servant’s heart have inspired and encouraged countless people, leading many to grow in their faith and become devoted servants of God.

Associate Pastor: Jacob George
Pastor Jacob George, a native of Adoor, Kerala, came to Bahrain in 1998. An engineer by profession, he works with one of the leading organisations in Bahrain.
He experienced a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and came to the saving knowledge of Christ in 1985, while in Chennai. He began his Christian walk and evangelistic ministry in Mumbai, where he served until 1991, before moving to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for nearly eight years prior to relocating to Bahrain.
Pastor Jacob brings with him many years of experience in personal evangelism and missional support. He lives in Bahrain with his wife, Aniamma Jacob (Jessy), and they are blessed with two children:
Pr Joel George Jacob, a graduate of SABC, Bangalore, and married to Ann Susan, currently serves the Lord as Youth Pastor at Gilgal AG Church, Bangalore.
Sarah Mariam Jacob, who holds a master’s degree in Astrophysics and works as a teacher in Bangalore
Pastor Jacob completed Advanced Leadership Training at the Haggai Institute, Maui, USA, in 2008, and obtained a master’s degree in Christian theology from COTS–IPC Theological Seminary, Kottayam, in 2024.
He served as an Area Coordinator (2000–2005) and as an Elder of the Church (2005–2022) before being appointed as the Associate Pastor on February 18, 2022. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, he also serves as the Evangelism Director and a Sunday School Teacher.
